Following The Rules- Social Emotional Learning Game With Puppet Show- Responsible Decision Making

Come meet Tommy in this puppet show! Tommy and his friends forget the rules at school.  Tommy re-teaches the rules so that he can remember them and so that you can learn about them! Find the game here: I Can Follow The Rules/puppet

Objective: To help students understand school rules and their importance.

How will learning take place?  Through an engaging puppet video lesson to help students learn about general school rules and their importance followed by a social story game! 

Why teach this? Rules help children feel safe to learn and grow. They also help children to begin to sort out right from wrong.

Come meet Tommy (puppet)! He is so excited to tell you about his school day and what he learned. Unfortunately he runs into some problems when he doesn’t get to answer all the questions and has to wait for others to take a turn. In the end he finds out why he needs to wait. 

Objective: To help students understand why it is important to wait and be patient.

How will learning take place?  Providing an engaging puppet video lesson to help students learn the importance of being patient followed by a social story game!

Why teach this? Waiting your turn is a part of life and will always be a part of life so we need to teach children the importance of it and what they can do when waiting gets hard.
