Valentine’s Day Soup

Today was a VERY FUN sensory day for Ollie (3)! We made “Valentine Soup.”  I gathered a bunch of waterproof pom-poms, buttons and heart jewels. I attempted to make the “broth” aka water red, pink and purple using food coloring. Then he was supposed to scoop and match anyway he wanted. I just loaded the box with different scoops, syringes, big/little spoons and even a muffin tin to make soup in all working on those fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills. He enjoyed this so much that I am sure we will be doing it daily for a long time!
