Kitchen Helpers

The kids seem to always be in the kitchen when I am cooking. They always want to help with something so instead of being around the hot stove I gave them a “job.” I used strips of contact paper and wrapped the handles of the refrigerator.
I let my boys decorate using a variety of different materials that would stick to the door but as you can see my one son loved the eyeballs . This worked out great because now they could be in the kitchen, have a job and not get in the way! As my oldest son was putting on all the eyeballs he said, “mom, this is so much fun.” That’s how I know it is a good activity–when he likes it!
