Asking For Help- Social Emotional Learning Game- Self Awareness- Self Management

Asking for help can be hard for some students and for others they ask for help more than they need it. We want to teach students that it is okay to ask for help in situations where they absolutely need it but in other situations, they can try to solve the problem themselves before asking for help.

Objective: To help students understand when they should ask for help

How will learning take place? Through an engaging game to help students practice distinguishing the difference between situations  where they should ask for help and situations where they shouldn’t ask for help.

Additional Components (not included in the digital version on boom learning): There will also be a printable activity sheet to go right along with this game, a transition activity to close the lesson as well as an extended learning idea on how to embed this casually into your classroom throughout the week or even better the year!
