Cut The Alphabet

My kids love to cut. EVERYTHING!

This should be a good thing because I want them to practice those fine motor skills but sometimes things get cut that just shouldn’t be cut (hair, clothes, shoe laces, money).  So by giving them  unique opportunities to cut, they are more eager to cut “cut-able” stuff!

By putting this alphabet in order to cut my kids were recognizing letters, recalling the order of the alphabet and practicing their cutting skills. They were excited to get to Z where there was a special cupcake sticker waiting for them!!! BONUS!!  To make it more tricky make the alphabet curvy (like in the photo) so that your child needs to practice turning the paper when cutting)!
