Color Code The Directions

North, South, East, West or “Never Eat Soggy Waffles” is how I learned to remember these directions! Directions are so important. Not only for kids but for adults! Think how many directions children and adults are given during a given day…let’s just say it’s  A LOT!

Even though those directions are a little different than North, East, South and West those directions are just as important and it is not too early to teach. In fact, those words are oftentimes intertwined in children’s songs and instead of using up and down they use north and south or right and left using east and west! So  I challenge you to teach about “following directions” in a different way today.
