Teaching students to use affirmations helps to raise their self-esteem and reduce negative thoughts. By talking about themselves in a positive way, students will begin to believe what they say which leads to more confidence, perseverance and a growth mindset.
Objective: To have students practice saying kind words about themselves
How will learning take place? Through a social story where students practice saying affirmations out loud.
